2011 Safety Award Winners
Congratulations to our NCMA and ICPI Producer and Associate members who achieved exemplary plant safety records in 2011. The NCMA/ICPI Safety Awards Program received the highest number of entries to date (147), and the highest number of zero recordable injury entries (125) who will receive the prestigious Platinum Award. In addition, a record number of Milestone Awards will be presented to the elite whose facility has maintained a zero recordable injury record for five consecutive years. This is a highly coveted award that represents the highest level of plant safety commitment. Gold and Silver level award winners will also be recognized for the best of the non-zero injury records.
Silver and Gold Award WinnersNCMA and ICPI Producer and Associate member entries are eligible for the second-tier awards recognizing the highest level of safety for non-zero recordable injuries by facility, based on five categories of hours worked. The categories are:
Category I = 0 – 40,000 hoursCategory II = 40,001 – 80,000 hoursCategory III = 80,001 – 140,000 hoursCategory IV = 140,001 – 200,000 hoursCategory V = 200,001+ hours
